Trump Says “Cuba Could Be Next”
Rising Concerns Over Possible Multi-Front Conflict

As U.S. airstrikes against Iran continue, remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump have sparked new controversy across the international community.

Speaking at the “Shield of the Americas” summit held recently in Florida, Trump announced a stronger military response strategy targeting powerful criminal cartels in Latin America.

During the meeting, Trump stated that these cartels possess organizational capabilities comparable to military forces and warned that the United States could deploy military power directly if necessary.

He added that if the locations of cartel operations were identified, the U.S. military could carry out stronger strikes against them.

At the summit, several Latin American countries also agreed to launch a new cooperative alliance aimed at combating transnational criminal organizations.

However, the controversy intensified when Trump mentioned Cuba while discussing broader geopolitical tensions.

Trump suggested that, in addition to the ongoing military confrontation with Iran, Cuba could become the next pressure point.

He argued that Cuba is facing severe economic difficulties and may eventually seek negotiations.

Trump also claimed that if the Iranian government collapses, political changes in Cuba could follow.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Defense stated that the American military has the capability to conduct operations in multiple regions simultaneously, including both the Middle East and Latin America.

The Cuban government strongly criticized the remarks, accusing Washington of attempting to justify military intervention against sovereign nations and describing the rhetoric as a form of “neo-colonial thinking.”

Experts warn that if tensions expand beyond the Middle East, the risk of broader geopolitical instability could increase significantly.

For now, the international community is closely watching whether U.S. military strategy may extend beyond the Middle East into the Americas.
