Donald Trump deleted a controversial social media post in which he appeared to portray himself as Jesus, following intense backlash.

The AI-generated image showed him in white robes and a red cloak, seemingly healing a person, with American symbols such as the flag and eagle in the background.

The post, uploaded without explanation, sparked widespread criticism, particularly from religious communities, with some calling it blasphemous. Even conservative Christian figures voiced strong objections.

The image was removed about 12 hours after being posted. Trump later claimed it was meant to depict him as a healer, but did not clarify why it was deleted.

Analysts noted that the deletion was unusual, as Trump often keeps controversial posts online, suggesting political pressure may have influenced the decision.
